Very nice! These things are like Lay's Potato Chips, one is never enough. May it be the first of many.

I made the wife mad last night by surfing the Kimber, SA and S&W site. Didn't even have the Para a full day and already looking for another. : )

My only complaint about the Para is the slide stop. Not sure if its shorter than others or if I just have wierdly short thumbs. Easy enough fix though.

On a side note I OC'd for the first time in Indy at a local mall. I've OC'd before around my home town but its a farming community so I kinda got the "whatever" responce. I was expecting some looks and even a few questions from security. However, of the 3 security guards and even one Marion Co. Officer none of them asked about me OC'ing. Even the one that ask me to keep my two hellions from climbing the benches didn't say anything.

Uncle gave me a 1911 at age 12. My son has it now. I am a big fan of the Para line of 1911's. I have 4 of them. 1 Mil-spec and 3 Hi-capacity. All are great shooters. Never any real serious issues. Enjoy.
Look into a P-12 alloy or a P-14 stainless Limited.

Very nice. Can't wait to get one myself (have an older llama but don't consider it a true 1911.) sure I'll get some comments back on that one but in shooting some colts, Smiths, and kimbers, I think there is a difference. :twocents:
