Springfield Range officer Elite Champion. Looks like they can be had for under $700. Which to me is a big chunk of change, but still in my comfort zone for Price.

Yes. I have owned a few champions and every one was stellar. They accept mods readily and are accurate.

For the RO Elites under 700 would be a good buy, these are recently discontinued so maybe that's why. If you like that version I would probably get one sooner than later.
