Is it possible to take another look at the rule requiring 10 posts to PM or 50 posts in order to be able to respond to classifieds ?

I have seen several classifieds that I would like to respond to however the current board rules don't allow me to respond. It seems like this would be very discouraging to new members.

Thanks for the inquiry. If you read through the INGO FAQ (linked in my signature), you'll find that we have that rule in place for the protection of our membership. We've always striven to make the INGO Classifieds a perk to the contributing membership-- folks with more than 50 posts-- as to not turn them into a "CraigsList for guns".

However, with that being said, we do understand that this can be discouraging for newer members. We will be taking your feedback into consideration. In the meantime, peruse the site, post up your thoughts, and enjoy what INGO has to offer in other areas.
