So my fiance is attending school, looking to get an education degree. One of her marxist teachers was having a discussion with the class about how he was in Mcdonalds with his young daughter and saw a man OC-ing (Ohhh know!!!). He went on to say how he doesn't understand why anyone would want to own, let alone carry a firearm, especially out in the open like that to scare all the little sheeple. On a side note, on the first day of this class firearms came up somehow and my fiance mentioned she liked to shoot...He then asked if, "she was from a farm or something?"...so that's the intelligence level we are dealing with here.

Well, my great lady just couldn't hold back and blurted out, "Maybe because he thinks his life is worth protecting!" And went on to say that the professor would be thanking God he was there if some crazy guy started shooting up the place.
Of,course this libtard couldn't get that through his mush head...and just repeated how he couldn't imagine why someone would need to carry a gun on them...:xmad::xmad::xmad:

Last semester she was forced to read a book by Bill Ayers...After some prompting by yours truly she made a big stink about that too. I just wish I had some of these marxist pieces of crap to rip apart...Just thought I'd share...

Yeah. I have had a few libtard teachers in college. One of them went on a anti-gun spiel, only to run into me about 3 hours later at a local restaurant, and I was sporting my .357 Nickel plated S&W, OC. I just gave him a smile and a wave, courteously. I honestly thought he wet himself.. Never quite looked at me the same, or brought up the "evil that is firearms" in class again.

Yeah, I had some of those too. None of them really got too crazy on the anti-gun thing, but they did have their liberal tendencies. I typically remained quiet when guns came up; I didn't want to tip them off to the possibility that I just might be carrying one at that exact moment...

I guess he's not teaching a class on the constitution or bill of rights.

Heck, if he saw an OCer at McDonalds in Indy, it might've been me. Not proud of the fact that we do eat at McDonalds more than we should but I am proud of the fact that I openly support our 2A rights.

The most frustrating thing to me is that the vast majority of educators today both in high school and university are so liberal in their views. Preparing for higher education and then participating in that learning experience is supposed to be about opening your mind to think in new ways. So why be so restrictive in your views as the one who leads this learning experiment??

I would prefer these teachers/professors teach the facts and leave their opinions at the door and not influence the future of our country towards their own personal belief system.

College professors believe it or not can have a lot of influence over students, therefore they need to keep their subjective opinions to themselves

I you want facts, major in the sciences. If you want conjecture, major in liberal arts.

If you want to make up your own rules, major in business!

While working at the university, I had a professor go off on some green weenie, socialist, anti-freedom tangent once. I was providing some technical help during the lecture. We had lunch a while after that (nice guy, just different than me), and he challenged my stance on some things. My reply (and I'm paraphrasing), was pretty easy "The students have to believe/agree with you to pass your class. They have to believe/agree with me to get a job, unless they want to become a professor." He did get a chuckle out of that.

    .

That is very true. I did my undergrad at Purdue in animal science. I got lucky and most of my teachers either had nothing to say about politics or were conservative. I did take a constitutional history class with a liberal lawyer running it...but she did very well to present both sides of the arguments and surprisingly did not interject her own liberal ideas while teaching.
Now that I've taken a greater interest in politics and conservatism my mouth waters at the thought of disrupting some libtard's lecture, and blowing holes in their nonsense. Unfortunately, the dental school isn't exactly a bastion of liberal ideals.

I'm at Purdue right now majoring in professional flight technology. I've had good luck with my professors so far. Especially my econ professor. She was very free market oriented which was nice since I often argued with my high school econ teacher who was very liberal. I did have to take a political science class and that was a bunch of crap... I can't wait to embarass a liberal professor :)
