I was showing a lady a Smith hammerless revolver. I told her "If necessary you could shoot through your purse ". She said "This is a Coach purse!"

More important than her life?
While purse carry is not the best choice, sometimes it is the only option. When looking at them, make sure to get one with a dedicated pouch, and a holster. Make sure it has a steel cable running thru the strap, and carry it across the body. Do not be afraid to shoot thru a purse or coat if need. Both are easier to replace than the life.
