I'm pleased with the rifle. The scope had to go though. It was just a cheap Bushnell model. I wanted a Nikon Monarch, but did not want to put a $400 scope on a $300 rifle. Instead, I got a Nikon Buckmaster 4.5x14x40. I read the reviews on Midway, and it got excellent marks. I took a trip to Acme Sports and they had one in stock. I will be taking it tomorrow to get it sighted in. I will post my thoughts at a later time.

I think it fits the look of the rifle well.

I don't think they make left handed in the Edge (which is now Axis) but they do have them in the Hunter line in .223 for $609 (as far as the Savage website).

On the Savage site you can look for the models with L in the string of letters. Gunbroker does have one of the left handed .223 Hunter models with a buy it now of $532.95.
