Hello everyone, I wanted to ask if anyone has ever tried installing a PPQ threaded barrel kit into a Walther P99 and it functioning correctly with a suppressor? Thanks

I haven't tried replacing the barrell like you mentioned. Both have a 4.2 barrell I believe so I don't see why it wouldn't work. It would probably just be easier to just sell off the p99 and go with a PPQ. Have you tried contacting Walther and asking them? You sparked my curiosity now.

Well I havent gotten a P99 yet, it's something I would like to get if I know a ppq barrel will work. The ppq is nice but i want the suppressed P99 setup due to it's connection to James Bond. I also enjoy the p99's da/sa trigger.

My PPQ is for EDC. It has the best factory trigger and the most comfortable grip imo. I've never shot a P99, I thought Bond and Walthers connection was with the PPK chambered in .32.

I've had a PPQ m1, shot the Q5 Match and they were both really nice guns. The P99's trigger feels the exact same as a PPQ when set to single action mode with a short reset just like the PPQ.

James Bond does use a PPK but the movies had him use the P99 from Tomorrow Never Dies to Casino Royale.

I really want this Gen 1 Bond themed P99 for my suppressor. ga005-walther-p99-se2.jpg
