    Hi gang.
I learned this evening that a friend of mine is wanting to clear out his rabbits.
He's got about 45 or so with more on the way if you know what I mean.

They are a cross between New Zealand Reds and Cotton tails and are considered wild rabbits.
He has been raising them for Beagle trial training but a lot of clubs that used to participate have closed due to lack of participation, (older generation dying off).

If anyone is interested in a few or all of them let me know.
They could be set loose on farms I guess to enhance hunting or whatever.

If you'd be so kind as to ask, I wouldn't mind a few to restock my freezer. My source for freezerbunnies up and moved to MN, and I'm just not all that fired up about the commute.

I think they would be a little expensive to eat he's wanting $15 apiece for the adults and $10 a piece for the babies when they're weened so I think that would be out of most people's reach, sorry.
I didn't know they we're going to be that expensive, but, if you were starting a herd of your own then maybe they would be worth it to the right person.
