    USP,

Thanks for the posting and congrats on your success with reloading.

A couple of questions come to mind.

-- What was your point of aim? With that type of target, it isn't obvious to me.

-- Were you using optics or iron sights? Sitting at a bench, prone, etc?

-- It appears that the group is about 4" across (just an estimate). Is that adequate for the type of shooting you anticipate doing with this ammo?

When you're testing a new load, you want to eliminate as much variation caused by the shooter as possible so you can see the real performance of the ammunition in that rifle.

I tried to place my front sight on the same point every time. It was a new target I picked up at the local shop. I will admit that I should have used a different target, one that I could more easily pick a point of aim. I know the wind gusts where causing the back stop to bounce around as well. I was using iron sights shooting off of a bench just using my elbows as support. These are just plinking rounds. I gave a friend 5 rounds to try as well, and he shot using a rest. The group he produced with my rounds was tighter then what was produced using Lake City ammo. I'll be testing another batch sometime soon.
