I have my dad's old Lionel O gauge trains and some work, some don't. I need to go through it all. I was wondering if anyone on here knew a good place to take them to get them worked on?

    Thank you

There is a train shop on East Washington in Indianapolis. They would be a starting point. Since you are in Paragon, you may also want to watch for the regular train shows at the old Big Lots store in Martinsville, or one of the many train shows in soth Indianapolis. The shop on Washington St. would have fliers for all of them.

I have been very pleased with an eBay repair guy who goes by the ebay handle:

    lionelpostwardoctor

You have to ship items to him, but he fixes them quickly, reasonably and returns them well packed. I have had several well loved '50's era engines repaired by him and bought a few engines and cars from him as well...satisfied with all.
