Rem 1100 mag ext tube?

I've got a 1100 that I have an 18 1/2 " slug barrel for that I'm going to set up for home defense. I am thinking of putting a mag ext tube and maybe a clamp with a swivel so I can put a sling on it. My question is what tubes and clamps seem to be the best and where do you get them?

I have a really nice 50 year old Rem Sportsman 48 that I was going tactical with, but I just can't get myself to cut the barrel off.

I have the nordic clamp with the rail section for a light.

Choate Machine and Tool makes a good one that comes with the sling swivel base clamp and a sling stud. You should be able to find one at the 1500, or order one online.

I've seen those and others on the net, just wanted to know if there was a consensus on the better or best one.

I bought it new 25 yrs ago from a local gun shop.

Brownells have Choate and Nordic extention tubes. Both work very
well. I also use a bbl clamp. Also don't forget about different choke
tubes and a Choate Combat bolt handle. I like it on mine.

That's what I did, paid a little bit more but kept in state and with an Ingo advertiser.
