I'm selling this for my father. The gun is a little too small for him. This is what they call a "Mini-Mauser". These were only imported for a year or so. There aren't too many around especially in this caliber. Please don't confuse this model with the easier to find .223 version. The 7.62x39 is the rarest of the models and more valuable. It is a very light rifle and would be handy for a 250yd and in varmint gun. Gun is in beautiful shape and has a monte carlo stock. Bluing is in 98+%. It has a push-button that operates the internal magazine to open on the bottom of the stock. It already has the scope mounts installed for Weaver-type rings.
