Going to keep it,I bought a rear sight for it and now I am going to sporterize it....Remington 7mm rolling block. I believe this model to be a No. 5...1897. It says 7mm on the barrel. It has a repaired crack on the upper handguard and the rear sight is not original. There is some pitting where the barrel meets the wood. Seems to function well and has good rifling. The No. 5 was known as the smokeless powder cartridge rolling block rifle. 7x57mm
FTF....willing to drive 20 miles from Chesterton. $300.00 trades considered.
Price reduction....$200.00... or trade for? final bump before I sporterize it.
    $300.00

If it doesn't sell in the next week, my plans are to refinish the wood and the metal, add new sights and cut the barrel to 18"
