removing sights from an xdm

I was wondering of anyone has replaced their sights on an xdm. I heard they are on their pretty tight. Is it something I can do myself or should I go to a gunsmith. Thanks for any feedback

The XD and XDm sights are incredibly difficult to move. Have a smith do it. I had to take my XD to my local smith just to move them.

XD sights are a PAIN!!!!!!!!! Take it to a good gunsmith with a quality pusher, the brass punch and hammer method doesnt work well on the XD

That is one of the greatest things I've seen.. Thank you everyone for you advice. To the gunsmith I go.
