replacing sights on rifle

Going to install some fiber optic sights on my slug gun and a lever gun. Any tips for geting them lined up and sighted in.

I’ve always measured the old ones prior to taking them off and matching the new ones measurements to the old.
But honestly your still gonna have to sight it in.

Thats what I thought, think will try to bore sight with a laser that goes in end of barrel to get close.
