Revere's Riders 2-day Field Rifle at Camp Atterbury, IN (Feb 11-12)

If you didn't see the thread about this event in the Revere's Riders forum, here's your PSA about a great event next month at the Camp Atterbury rifle range. You will shoot out to 500 yards at this event and learn proper shooting positions to achieve hits at this distance, sight adjustments, collecting "DOPE" on your rifle, etc. George Washington will be the topic of our usual history talks during breaks from the firing line.

This is a second tier class in our offerings and participants should be comfortable with the operation of their rifle, shooting from standing, sitting and prone positions as well as sight adjustment. Our Basic Rifle (Rifle 125) course is a great preparation class for Field Rifle (Rifle 262). We don't have any upcoming Basic Event events before the Atterbury event, but you can always get in on a Basic Rifle event later this year in preparation for our next Atterbury event (not scheduled yet, but stay tuned).

If there is enough interest and a suitable weekend is available at Atterbury, we will investigate adding another date to the schedule.

In particular, the Rifle 125 (Basic Rifle) - Two Day (Richmond, IN) event is one you won't want to miss. While it isn't a Rifle 262 (Field Rifle) event like Atterbury, it will be at the A&A Optics range and Alan will be giving away some scopes (yes, SCOPES!). I'm interested. Love the actual distance, as simulated distance with smaller targets isn't the same.
Would prefer a date that wasn't freezing or boiling, but I understand that available dates may be limited.
