Well I needed a new pocket style light to keep at work to use in the mornings and for general purpose. I liked my PT-2L so I figured I would purchase the PT-2AA for work. It comes wit 2 AA batteries and holster.
Specs:
High, low and strobe modes
C4 LED illumination output and run times:
HIGH - 120 lumens/1.25 Hour
LOW - 14 lumens/21 Hours
STROBE - 4 Hours Includes 2 AA alkaline battery
Solid State power regulation provides maximum light output throughout battery life
Rubber push button tail cap switch
IPX7 rated design; waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes
Impact-resistant tempered glass lens
Unbreakable pocket clip
Anti-roll head
Includes nylon holster
When I opened the package I noticed how much longer it is compared to my PT-2L. Noticeably I guess it would be considering it takes AA batteries instead of the 123's the 2L takes. It is comfortable in the hand and is light weight. Includes the same pocket clip as well. The pocket clip on the 2L has held up over 7 months time and I see no reason for this one not to as well. The light is bright and clear (c4 led). It has high, strobe, and low modes.

Here is 3 streamlights. Left to right (PT-2AA 120 lumens,TLR-1S 160 lumens, PT2L 180 lumens) I think that the TLR-1S has a much bigger overspill due to the bigger lamp and lens causing it to appear brighter.

Overall I like streamlight products and will continue to purchase them. I think this light will be just fine for what I need it for at work and is a plus that it runs on batteries that are cheap. Figured I would share this with the community.
