Actor Harry Morgan, who starred as Colonel Potter in the classic TV comedy 'M*A*S*H,' and as Officer Bill Gannon in '50s detective series 'Dragnet,' dies at 96.

I just ordered the complete 12 season MASH on DVD it was my favorite show. Harry Morgan was one of my favorites on MASH

He lived a full life. He was great on M*A*S*H! It still airs on TVLand.

My brother got me into M*A*S*H when I was young, probably to young to really get it.
I still watch it regularly.

I think the character actors are many times better than the big stars! They get more interesting parts and work more often! I remember him in lots of films, but the one I can think of off hand was the Marshall in the Shootist. Good character Part! I'll miss him, but I bet him and the Duke and John Ford and a few others are already playing Poker in Heaven! RIP
