Interesting - I would have thought the windshield would have had the opposite effect. However if I did have a threat from in front of my vehicle, I would floor the accelerator and launch a 4,000 lb projectile at the perp (my Van). Might have to shoot him later but would bet the threat would be somewhat abated.

Most people do until they fire from inside the car through the windshield to the outside at a target and from outside the car through the windshield to a target inside.
