CIA Director Burns had to warn Zelensky to stop stealing so much money.

The issue of corruption was directly raised with Zelensky in a meeting last January in Kiev with CIA Director William Burns.
His message to the Ukrainian president, I was told by an intelligence official with direct knowledge of the meeting, was out of a 1950s mob movie.

The senior generals and government officials in Kiev were angry at what they saw as Zelensky’s greed, so Burns told the Ukrainian president, because “he was taking a larger share of the skim money than was going to the generals.”
Burns also presented Zelensky with a list of thirty-five generals and senior officials whose corruption was known to the CIA and others in the American government.
Zelensky responded to the American pressure ten days later by publicly dismissing ten of the most ostentatious officials on the list and doing little else.
“The ten he got rid of were brazenly bragging about the money they had—driving around Kiev in their new Mercedes,” the intelligence official told me.
Zelensky’s half-hearted response and the White House’s lack of concern was seen, the intelligence official added, as another sign of a lack of leadership that is leading to a “total breakdown” of trust between the White House and some elements of the intelligence community.
Hersh went on to note that one estimate by analysts from the Central Intelligence Agency put the embezzled funds at $400 million last year, at least; another expert compared the level of corruption in Kiev as approaching that of the Afghan war, although there will be no professional audit reports emerging from the Ukraine.”

“Adopting the 14th sanctions package is one of the most important things,” Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billstrom said arriving at an EU foreign ministers’ meeting in Luxembourg, as carried by Reuters.

So they got it wrong 13 times...but this time is "the most important".

If we really want to kick of WW3 we should give Poland nukes....oh.

Oh, that funding for Ukraine included ‘‘Refugee and Entrant Assistance’’, $481,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2025, for refugee and entrant assistance activities authorized by section 414 of the Immigration and Nationality Act and section 501 of the Refugee Education Assistance Act of 1980.

So the exact opposite of securing the border.

Well, hey, maybe on the bright side it'll be mostly female migrants, since the men are all getting snatched off the streets and sent to die.

No where in the funding does it even mention Ukraine. It is a blank check, and I would wager 99% of it gets spent in central American countries. Paying for the USA to be invaded seems to be something we do now.

    Same article I posted above.
The package includes an Israel aid bill that grants $3.5 billion to the Department of State, which funds many programs that bring more migrants into the United States. The bill offers:

For an additional amount for ‘‘Migration and Refugee Assistance’’, $3,495,000,000, to remain available until expended, to address humanitarian needs of vulnerable populations and communities:
So more than 5 billion going toward new immigration efforts and liberal cities housing them. Much of it though will be spent outside the US paying for them to arrive. Apparently flying them in from 3rd world **** holes is all the rage.

    Could be anywhere
We have no skin in the game and we keep giving them just enough to keep fighting but not enough to win.

We should have skin in this game. Russia and Putin like Xi in Chicomland are our enemies.

The Russian and Chinese people not so much so. But much like the German, Japanese and SOVIETS of our past the people are overshadowed by their governments.

    Quick note from Ukraine!

    The Russians are retreating forward.
The Ukrainians are advancing to the rear.

History is having a hard time keeping up.

Glad we are sending more equipment for the Russians.

Its going so well for the Ukraines that they are changing there citizenship to anything but Ukraine.

The 47th left the front line(as they told Kiev they would last week), as they had not had a break in 11+months with zero rotations out and few replacements for lost men. The 115th was garrisoned nearby and was rushed to fill the positions after they left. The 115 did not want to go to those positions as they considered it a meat grinder. They choose to make a new line about 3km into Ukrainian held territory. That line was quickly over run, and they retreated after just a few hours...back to where the 47th troops were being gathered for a well earned break. Now having lost 5km and Russia doing a rocket attack on the gathering of troops, the 47th(after officers apparently began shooting members that refused to go back) rejoined the fight after less than 12 hours.

Official narrative. The 115th was sent to replace the 47th and do to errors in timing the rotation failed.

The original article I read was linked from yahoo news. It is gone, but it mentioned Ukraine lost two fully functional abrams(left behind) a himars, several apc,and one patriot system. All now in Russian hands. The telegraph article mentions the himars and patriot loss as well, but not abrams.

We gave the money in part because the EU promised that THIS time, they will for sure, most definitely, positively gear up their arms manufacturing to provide the one million promised artillery shells along with other munitions. I suspect that if the front is lost and Ukranian forces begin a full-scale retreat, the EU will once again renig on the agreement, preserving what fiscal footing it has while our dollars have been flushed.
