Anyone have a set (or 2) of the S&W Hawkeye Throwing Axes?
What do you think of them?
How well do they balance while throwing?
Likes or Dislikes about them?
If you dislike them, what do you recommend for an inexpensive throwing axe?
Thank you!
Played with these a couple of times.
Light weight and easy to throw.
Stick in wood via face, rear of head and handle base.
You wouldn’t want to chop a tree down with them though lol.
We had a couple of regular wooden handed axes and the S&W were so much easier to throw/master, especially for kids.
Fun to play with and also pretty small and compact for storing.
My $.02
We tried several of the “cheaper” throwing axes. The all metal some cheap wood handle ones etc…. We like the “regulation” throwing axes they are a little pricier but they last and kids just throw with two hands. although given the cost if you stick one I no longer allow a second throw in the block lol that’s how most get broken hitting with another axe. So a little annoying always resetting your target but better than busting up handles.
The Hawkeye Throwing Axes are compact one-piece throwing axes designed for a good time. Each axe has a bottle opener in the handle, and each axe head has four sharpened edges, so if you're terrible at throwing axes, you're still likely to make your hit.

I’ve not had experience with them, however I can get them. They also have combo sets with throwing knives
