Local Rural King has a Savage Mdl 64 for $149 . I already have a 64 TRR-SR. The Savage 64F is a basic rifle. Unlike the 10/22, there are few vendors who sell upgrades. The good news is that it is easy to work on and easy to home-brew some mods to make it user friendly. Anyone else like the Savage 64?
