This weekend at a local gun show I saw a ruger mark II frame with a 12 or 14 inch barreled upper and under the table was a screw in stock and a holster. The upper /barrel had a handguard and was made by AMT and had a weird serial number but I saw no "made by" ingraving other than a standard aftermarket AMT stuff. The serial number started with a g. The scope was most setup for a rifle scope and was a 6 power. This was setup to use the stock for sure. The frame had a small screw in added to the end of frame

Is this item treated like a broom handle or Hi-power pistol with a removable stock. I got him down to a nice price but it was not worth making a mistake and buying a Class weapon with a tax stamp. I like long 22 pistols and this one was kinda neat.
