Hey guys looking at getting a scope for a .22 mag. I dont really want to spend more than $50 bucks on it. So whats the best one i can get at that price? i want one that i can see a target at 100yards upclose.

ok ill break the ice. i really dont think there is a scope made for under 50 bucks that is worth buying. if you can go up to 100 bucks it will be the best 50 dollars you can spend on optics. there is not much if any diffrence between a 1000 dollar scope and a 1050 dollar scope. there is a night aqnd day diffrence between a 50 dollar scope and a 100 dollar scope.

I totaly agree with vette. Sure you can buy a Tasco, BSA, Simmons, etc. for that. I would pay a little more and go with a Bushnell Banner. You can get a 3x9x40 for around $80 and it's worth the extra $30 bucks.

I have several 4X Bushnell scopes mounted on 22's and 22 magnums. You, know, the ones with rings in the plastic packaging in Gander Mountain, Walmart, etc for about 40 bucks.

They work fine. Maybe I have low standards?
