I entered "AR-15" in the long gun forum and got zero results. How is that possible? Is there a glitch?

Take out the dash. Site search has some oddities.

Using a web search engine, you can include site:ingunowners.com to do a more specific search such as this:

ar-15 site:ingunowners.com - Yahoo! Search Results

Try AR15 no hyphen.

Your gonna get 1,000,000,000 post pop up I think it will hit on this guy too...

Nope. vBulletin's search function is not it's strong suit. Also, it doesn't do well with shorter-than-three-character search strings anyway. Not sure what to tell you, other than maybe try searching DPMS, OlyArms, Bushmaster, or other manufacturer names.
