I have a Syderco Delica 4 with the FFG blade. It is starting to lose a bit of its sharpness, and this is the first knife I have had with a FFG blade. Is there anything different about sharpening this blade or is it exactly the same as any other knife?

Strop it if it isn't too bad, usually works good

Many people make the mistake of sharpening a knife when it really just needs a good stropping. Less sharpening and more stropping will prolong the life of the blade. I have seen people that sharpen the crap out of a knife and in a couple of years have taken as much as 1/4 inch of metal off, no kidding.
