Sharps 2010 Carbine; anyone know about them?

While at the Shot Show I got a chance to review the new Sharps 2010 Carbine and it seemed like a very high end product. I know just enought to be dangerous when it comes to the piston systems. These have a suggested retail of $2,695.00 which is way up there. Anyone think there is a market for this type rifle? I would not mind giving their barrel a thorough wringing out. Nitro carb'd barrels pop up from time to time but I've never snagged one.

Can't buy the 5R claim though.
