Shuff's Parkerizing Mini-G, any thoughts?

I've been in love with the idea of a shorter Garand for years, and I'm thinking of sending off my Century rifle to have the conversion done. I was wondering if anyone on here has any experience with this rifle, I haven't quite made my mind up yet, but I'm pretty close.

Got a link? Back years ago there were a couple companies that made "Tanker" Garands. Although they were never really issued to troops many folks would try to pass them off as GI weapons. Some worked ok, especially the 308s I had and some were just awful. I think the original is probably the best configuration for the M1.

I keep telling myself that original is better, but then I see a picture of this thing, and that throws me back into doubt.
