Anyone see these, have any ideas when they might be available. I can't find much on them but this could be something nice to carry in the summer.

I've been hearing about these for a while now, and to be honest, I'm not impressed because from the specs I've seen it doesn't look like this pistol offers a significant enough advantage over the P-225/P 6, P-228, P-229, or even the P-245. The estimated production date (if I recall correctly) is around 2013-2014 at the earliest. I'm looking for a smaller carry piece, and I'm leaning heavily toward finding an lightly used (or new) P-245, especially compared to the P-224. In my opinion, Sig is taking another step backward with this pistol design. But it isn't like Sig USA really gives a hoot what I think.

I have not seen one yet, but it is nice to see that sig is coming out with another good quality pistol. I have not been impressed with the new plasic cheap ones that have hit the market to compete with the lower cost pistols out there.

I'm looking forward to handling one once they become available. I love my P239, but kind of wish it could hold a few more rounds, and this might be a good alternative.

Have not seen it - but if one wants an easy to carry 9MM....357 0r >40...the P239 is a awesome option. I carried a Kimber 1911 for the past two years and I cannot say enough about the Sig - I wish I would have bought one 30 years ago.....

I tried the p239. I can't get along with the grip. I am real curious about the new sig. If it runs like my p226 I will get one.
