Took my new P238 Liberty to Willow Slough today. Fired 100 rounds, had one FTE on a reload round. The rest was perfect. Very smooth trigger, recoil very light. Regarding accuracy, I haven't shot much lately and was shooting at 25 yards. Didn't get all rounds on the paper, but I'm sure its me and not the gun. This ones a keeper. Saw one at Blythes for $689, got this one on line for $589 shipping included. Cabelas had one for $729 IIRC.

    It is never the gun.

That isnt bad though. The 238 feels awkwardly tiny in my hand, I would be surprised if I was on paper consistently at 15 yards.

i also recently acquired a P238 and was pleasantly surprised. I found it to be far better than similarly sized .380s like p3at and LCP in every way: accuracy, recoil/muzzle flip, trigger.

It's bigger and heavier than the keltec and the ruger, and the size and weight make it much nicer to shoot. I can't pocket carry one, but it conceals very easily with an inside the waistband holster. Keep on shooting it!

Ive had mine for a couple of years now. The first time out was a very similar experience. Just keep shooting it gets better.

I've been looking for a .380. I like the looks of the sig but need to fondle and shoot some of them before I buy. Sounds like you are happy with the sig.

I have a Pocketlite that is a really sweet gun but they are going up in price so much I hate to shoot it. I picked up an SAS and it just does not feel right in my hand. I have a set of custom grips on there way and hopefully that will be the trick.

I bought one at the March Indy 1500 and love it. I have about 400 rounds through mine with no failures. Pretty much what the original poster said. The trigger is a little heavy for my liking but other than that it is a dream to shoot.
