Does she still have the hi-point? This is a HUGE improvement over that!!

That diamond plate with some nice wood grips would look pretty good, I think.

She WANTS the Sig, she's not getting that, unless she pays for it. She still has the Hi-Point, but she is getting it replaced with a Bersa 380cc with Marschal grips.

The Hi-Point is coming home to papa and the big Hi-Point / CZ showdown. I'm still trying to remember the conditions of that challenge. I think it was the CZ has to be 10x more accurate than the C9 since it cost 10x more...

Not quite 10x as much. Though just on looks alone, I'd say the CZ is worth about 1000000000x as much as a hi-point! :puke:

Interesting thread, and a good time to resurrect it, as the pricing on the diamond-plate editions seems to have come down quite a bit. I just ordered a two-tone P229R from Bud's Gun Shop online for $776...I was actually tempted to go for the diamond-plate version, which actually costs less, currently on sale for $699. Pretty good price for a new 229, if you don't mind (or really do like) the diamond-plate thing.
