Do they make such a gun? I recently looked at Kahr cw9, and I loved the feel of the gun and the thin width, but it's DAO, as they all seem to be these days.

Do they make a single stack 9 in SA and a reasonably small gun, small enough to carry?

All of theses are not DAO.

HK P7, Love mine great gun but you need to get used to squeeze cocker.
Sig P6, Accurate, quality, little large
Smith CS9 etc. quality single stack.
Any number of 1911s and variants, if you want small perhaps the 9mm EMP.

I don't know if you consider striker fired "DA", but if not, the Walther PPS is my carry gun in warm weather. Nice single stack, very reliable, very Glock-like.

The Springfield Armory EMP in 9mm looks very nice, but I've not shot one. Kinda pricey. It's a 1911 style pistol, scaled down to 9mm.

Thanks everyone for all the input. I have spent lots of time and research comparing exact sizes and weights (and prices) of all the guns mentioned, and there are several great ones mentioned.

I found the gun that I want! But they don't make it. :( Glock now makes a single stack .45 known as their "slimline." But they don't make it in a 9mm, which REALLY seems like a shame.

Does anyone know if they intend to produce it later on?? :dunno:
