Smokin clays with dad’s Ithaca Model 37

Staring to get a little better at shooting clays. What a perfect way to spend range time!

I have dad’s over and unders to use if I need to look good doing clays but I used grandfathers model 12 in 16 gauge out last fall for a good few rounds and it was very enjoyable. There were 7 shot low brass boxes in the stash that were most likely grandfathers also.

I replaced the 16 gauge shells at a good price when Indiana gun club got in 16 gauge shell pallet. I think there is 3/4 box of number 2 shot I think grandfather used to hunt ducks with still in the stash.

i shoot pumps for clays pretty well growing up shooting my 870 forever. They just point well for me.

Shoot guns, have fun. I like to shoot my old hunting guns some times.

Nothing quite as smooth as a well loved Ithaca.

Tossing your own birds makes for an interesting challenge though!

My wife has her uncle's 37. She's shot it a few times in some turkey shoots.
