    Ok.....

Bought a Spikes Tactical lower and am trying to figure out the stock here.

They said when I called that it uses a Gov't buffer.

Will this mean that I need to use a gov't stock and a gov't sized buffer tube?

Can I use a Magpul stock and a DPMS Buffer tube??

    What are my options folks?:draw:

you can use any buffer tube, by any manufacturer you wish. You have to use a rifle buffer in a rifle buffer tube and a carbine buffer in a carbine buffer tube though.

I think his specific question is: Are there mil spec sized buffers like there are mil spec sized receiver extensions (requiring mil spec sized stocks) or will all buffers fit commerical AND mil spec receiver extensions?

I confess I do not know the answer, but I'd like to know as well.

being a newb, i only knew of "commercial" and Mil Spec",, which I think refers to the diameter of the stock ID/TUBE
