I knew it existed and watched it a couple of times with friends. Yeah, it wasn't a great movie but it beat nothing. Think of the time when it was made and what else was out there and you'd be glad they made it. Much of the stuff in the theatres and on TV at the time were just real crap. This was at least watchable for a Star Wars fan, even if it wasn't a new SW movie.

Thief of Baghdad brings back memories of Saturday matinees (on TV and in our base theatres). The station out of New Orleans used to fill up evenings and afternoons with old flicks like that one. Lots of B movies!
