STEEL CHALLENGE at ATLANTA C.C. 15MR2014

The Steel Challenge match at ACC is a GO for Saturday. (Finally !!!)

Not finalized yet, but the stages will probably include ::
Fire and Ice (in honor of Indiana weather...)
El Secretario del Defenso (the El Presidente drill adapted to Steel matches)
a Run & Gun stage (if the gravel looks good)
a new one I still am working on
and, of course, the Ubiquitous Plate Rack

Set-up starts at 8:30 (not 8:00 as in the past)
Sign-in starts at 9:15 or so...

Great time today! The weather started a little brisk, but the sunshine warmed things up nicely.

Squad 5 was great bunch to shoot with!

I really liked the "run n gun" stage. That's gonna be a USPSA gateway drug for some people, I think. The stage on bay 1 made it painfully obvious I can't count.

Yea "run and gun" was def my favorite, it tasted most like USPSA lol. Anyone do the "show off" stage successfully?

I tried it once, that ended up being my throwaway run by a pretty big margin. I'd like to blame my turd Glock for that.

I tried to "show off" once. Successful, but was my scratched run as well. I should have made the bonus 1-sec. per plate. Next time...
