Steel Challenge at South Central

South Central Gun Club will hold their Steel Challenge Match
Saturday the 8th.
Setup will start at 9am and we will go Hot at 10:30 after short meeting.
4 stages - 5 runs per Stage, 100 rds. minimum for each gun.
Be sure you bring enough magazines to shoot each stage 5 times.
$10 per gun. There will be 2 relays.
The classes will be Rim Fire Pistol & Rifle. Center fire Pistol, Open, Limited and Revolver. Pistol caliber Carbines will be allowed also.

Is there a price break for juniors or additional guns? I plan to bring a PCC and, of course, the Glock.

Steel match was a lot of fun. We had 9 shooters and 2 spectators who say they will shoot next month. The ones that shot say they are HOOKED. Get the word out to friends that this is FUN and maybe a little harder than most people think. GOOD TIME. Max

The match was really fun. My son and I had a great time. We ran the first relay with our 9mm Glocks and the second with a 40 S&W Highpoint Carbine. My son mentioned he was a bit intimidated at first since this was his first match, but all the guys (RO's) were very nice and helpful to him.

Thanks for putting on great match. I will help to get the word out.

Don't forget there is a steel match at HHRP this Monday starting at 6:00. It is a bit easier than the Steel Challenge. Nothing beyond 40'.

We look forward to shooting Steel at SCGC again next month. (after 2 rounds of USPSA)
