    Picked up a couple of my first ever steel targets from you at the 1500 and I was planning on taking them out tomorrow to try them out. When I was digging through may safe to decide what to take, I realized that I only have green tips for my AR. I am going to assume that this would be a bad idea, but wanted to check with you. If that's a no go, then tomorrow will be a handgun day.

    It will effect the surface more that standard ammo, yes. It is really up to you what you are comfortable with. It will still last a while, just not as long as if you were using completely lead rounds.
