I just picked up an old Stevens 820b for cheap. It has the 28" full choke barrel and is in good shape considering the age. I want to cut the barrel down to 18.5", but the barrel isn't removable from the receiver so it can't be put into a lathe. I have a tubing cutter and a hack saw I could cut it with. What would be the best way to cut it and get it right?

I cut them with a new blade in a quality hacksaw. Then put the barrel in my mill vise and mill the front true. Deburr it and clean up any marks with a stone. Coat of cold blue at the tip and call it good.
