Maybe because Winter blend gas doesn't have the mileage robbing, and more expensive, ethanol in it??

I was behind a lady the other day who said I "I can't believe gas is so cheap up here" because it was like $3.49. I wanted to yell about how it is still outrageously expensive and we shouldn't tolerate that, but we were at the zoo and didn't really feel it was my place to yell

Winter-blend gas has other additives...less BTU's out of the winter blends.

Even at $4.00 a gallon, it's still some of the cheapest gas in the world.

And like I said above...let the Fed. Government end the subsidies on oil/gas/fuel and then get back to me about outrageously high prices.

Like most things, we Americans are very much spoiled in this regard.
