Super long transfer wait...

So, I'll keep this short: I'm selling a title 2 Mac 11/9, and I am stil in possession of the firearm. We've filed paperwork for the transfer, and the guy used to be A local LEO in his town. I recieved a down payment and we sent the paperwork March of 2012.

What on earth could be taking so long? What, if anything, did we do wrong?

Has he called the ATF to check on the status? Maybe the paperwork was "lost".

Probably a good idea. Is the local NFA branch the one I should contact, or should the buyer contact someone else?
