Super sized sight pusher

I wanted to change sights on my pistol. I used my milling machine to push the old out and the new in.

I have used my drill press as a arbor press. I had pins that would not budget on a AR gas block once. I grabbed a drill bit smaller then the pin. put it in the chuck upside down and it popped right out with a little more leverage. This is doing that on steroids! lol You gotta do what you gotta do with the tools around you. I bet it worked like a dream. Clever fellow!

Thanks. I considered making a pusher but I rarely need one.

similar to an old trick I learned in my younger days learning my around the tool room, we would ream or bore a hole to size and use the machine quill to press in (cold weld) a pin, or remove a pin

I always have some short drops of different sized DELRIN for machine such tools

I just used my vise and an old leather glove. Worked out nice.
