Suppressed 458 Socom gas system length question

Putting together a Suppressed Rock River upper in 458 Socom. Rock River offers a Car and mid-length upper.

What are the advantages of each of these lengths?

Would it be better to get the shorter gas system of the Car or longer of the mid-length for suppressed?
