Talking plate to aid in weight loss?

Heard this on Rush today. I have to say, if the mirror isn't enough to deter these people, I have a hard time thinking a talking plate will. I'm all for improving your life though, so I wish them well.

Thing that gets me about obesity. If we're so technologically advanced, why the heck can't they invent something that turns off hunger, for real. None of the "diet" pills seem to work. I've dieted before and was always hungry as a pig. People don't overeat cause they want to be fat. They eat cause their "HUNGRY." You'd be surprised how often a morbidly obese person (I mean 350lbs plus) will say "I'm starving" as feeding time approaches. Really! "I'm Starving." They actually say that. (FYI I'm in the health field and have some experience here - plus I'm no longer the lean mean fighting machine I once was).

Blame the FDA. Period. There have been drugs approved that have a side effect of healthy weight loss but because the drug isn't approved for use of weight loss it can't be marketed for that.
