For most American families who began having children years either the kids came first or the guns did. We are roughly three generations removed from firearms being a regular part of the American home experience. As such we have lost a wealth of once commonplace information about how kids and guns can safely coexist in a family setting. This two-hour presentation examines the technical, legal, and logistical realities of the contemporary family who is either introducing guns into a home with children or children into a home with guns. Close attention is given to evolving a family’s safety strategies and dialogue as your child reaches developmental milestones as they grow up. The preservation of the Second Amendment requires more American families to adapt to the times, embrace the gun safety culture, and pass on this invaluable knowledge to future generations.
