No, one does not need a finger to discharge a firearm. Sometimes guns go off very easily and denial cannot put the bullet back in the barrel. TFB posts a new video as to how easy it can be done.

Taurus (Brasil) recalls 24/7 DS from Brazilian paramilitary state police (San Paulo), nearly 100K pistols. Taurus (USA) not involved.

Yes, I can practice in Brazil, but I've never had a case in Clay County.

I will have to admit the first few videos I saw of this were less than convincing. But the second video that Kirk just posted is scary. The gun clearly discharges and even has a few FTFs. I no longer believe this to be a hoax.

I have seen many a bumper sticker that says "This vehicle insured by Smith and Wesson" and in all of my travels I have yet to see a bumper sticker that said "This vehicle insured by Taurus."

Now I know why....

The president of the company came out in a video about a year ago and said that he was going to ensure that Taurus would do better than they had in the past.


I honestly don't know how they're still in business.
