Thank You to Beech Grove and Greenwood PD's

We had a rape in Greenwood yesterday of a 70 year old woman. Attacked in her home in the morning.

I saw the news an hour ago that said Beech Grove PD i.d.'d the rapist for Greenwood and an arrest was effected today. That is very fast action and my wife and I appreciate the efforts of both departments in this case. With all the negative press on law enforcement lately, I wanted to say "Thank You" to the departments and officers involved in arresting this scum bag. May he rot in prison forever.

Kudos to the departments for acting in a quick and professional manner. Now all we can do is hope the courts put him away for the rest of his life.

He served 21 of 39 years on a prior child molestation sentence. Convicted at 21 years old. Half his life in prison. Now he'll be eligible to spend 75% of his life in prison...if he lives that long.

they had his jacket, and I assume DNA. Also decent identifiers even though the victim never saw his face(according to the news).

i told my wife a piece of s**t like that would deffinitly have DNA on record.

I spoke to a detective about this case as one of my patients was being considered a suspect at the time. I mentioned how it's a shame we're trying to match tattoos instead of ballistics. He agreed.

Sidenote - Matt Fillenwarth was a year or two ahead of me in high school. It is GREAT to see how well he has done down there. He seems like a real pro.

That's a LONG way from where he was in high school. Nothing terrible, just teenage guy stupid stuff.
