    Not sure, I only took the one pic. Will have to dig it up, it’s around here somewhere. It’s from a relative’s garage cleanout.
    I could see it being used to switch the side the belt is fed into the gun.

    I did a little digging and couldn't find any definitive answers on which guns that was an option.

    It’s a live cartridge stop for a 50 caliber machine gun blank firing adapter kit. They are usually tethered to the big overbarrel attachment but a lot of soldiers cut them off and lost them, or kept them, many times unintentionally.
