My first attempt at a Form 1 can!!!

I plan to do a very updated but very original looking
    OSS M3A1 Greasegun look-alike suppressor.

So save this spot!!! I will be back in 6-8 weeks when the greaser gets here. :patriot:

Sweet! I'm reading a book right now on SOG history and it's full of pics with weapons like that.

I need to check that out!! I would like to learn as much about them as possible, even though the plans are that the only resemblance to the original that mine will have is going to be the appearance of the outside diameter of the tube.

The one thing I am worried about is matching the color of the can with the original finish of my M3A1.

A friend has loaned it to me and I'm trying real hard to give it back to him in the same condition it was in when he handed it to me.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is promised to be a thing of beauty. I can't wait to see what this bad boy will look and SOUND like. You absolutely must post video of that monster being fired. I wait with bated breath!

Was the M3A1 parkerized? I'd take some scrap can tubing and use a Brownell's DIY parkerizing kit. After it's finished try putting it in a tumbler filled with BB's and a little bit of oil, see what that does to it.
