I have been wanting a set up light that for my Tundra but have not found anything that works. I am always jealous of the Ram truck guys who have storage in the side of their truck beds. Seems like other truck companies are mising the boat by not utilizing the dead space in the sides of the truck bed.

Just a guess but RAM probably has the patent rights locked up…

If I remember right Fix Or Repair Daily had boxes in their bed sides in the 70's & 80's

Interesting concept. Definitely looks like a similar idea to the Ram Outdoorsman's set up.

I drive one of these & yes they are very handy for loading up with various long guns, Its what I do during hunting season.

seems like a decked truck drawer would do the same thing only cheaper and more storage. They have specific rifle storage inserts now.
